The Senior Adult Ministry provides opportunities for singles and couples 55+ to:
  • Grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Experience friendship and fellowship
  • Serve in ministry to others
  • Evangelize

    Day Trips
    Throughout the year we go on several day trips, usually during the week or on a Saturday. When the weather is favorable our thoughts naturally turn to more outdoor activities. For some of us that means travel.

    Overnight Trips
    Once a year we go on a trip just to get away and to grow in our relationship with God and others. We have been to Savannah and Gatlinburg, to name a few places.

    Missions & Service
    The Senior Adults are vital to the church body and have many opportunities for service:
  • Child-care - Many have already signed up to help in our nursery to care for precious babies. This is a great opportunity to show God’s love and requires an average commitment of once per every nine weeks. See Lisa Wilder, our Children’s Director if interested.
  • Receptionist – Help answer the phone Monday – Friday. If interested call the church office to speak with Diane Raines.
  • Brotherhood – Second Sunday of each month at 8am.
  • WMU


    • Wellness
    Many of our Senior Adults take advantage of our walking track in the Family Ministry Center to help stay fit. The FMC is opened weekdays from 8:30am to 5pm. Come walk, jog or run and spend some time strengthening your heart. Remember to sign-in at the welcome desk.

    Monthly Luncheons
    The Hearty Bunch meets at 11am the second Thursday of each month for lunch and an exciting program. A suggested donation of $6.00 covers the meal. Our program coordinator works diligently to secure a variety of topics which are inspirational, educational, informational, interesting, and fun! This group does not meet during the summer months (June, July August).
